While we will try to accommodate requests to see a specific doctor at Walk-in surgeries, this cannot be guaranteed. Appointments for both doctors and nurses may be booked in person or by phone; appointments with doctors only can also be booked online (you need to register in person at the surgery for this service but it is a very simple and quick process).
GP appointments are now available in your area during the evenings and at the weekend. To book an appointment, contact your practice.
We are working together with other local practices to offer more appointments in the early mornings, evenings and at weekends.
These are mainly intended for those who find difficulty getting to routine surgery times because of work commitments.
A limited number of appointments are now available Monday 6.30-7pm (nurse) and Tuesday 6.30pm- 7.30pm (GP and Healthcare Assistant).
Some problems may be dealt with by phone and a few telephone consultations will be done after morning surgery until 12.30pm. In the event of emergencies these may be dealt with later the same day or carried over to the next working day. You will be informed in the event of a problem. If a telephone consultation is requested, please make sure you are available when a doctor calls back – 3 out of 4 calls from the doctor are not answered.
All consultations are now stored on computer.

Changes made by Community Services means that midwives no longer hold clinics at the surgery. First appointments are usually at 10-11 weeks, and are carried out by the midwife. Please contact the midwife to arrange this. To speak to the midwife follow the link.
Post-natal pre-bookable appointments are held during morning surgeries (not available at walk-in)
The Baby Clinic is held on Tuesday andThursday afternoons by appointment. See Child Immunisation Clinic for current immunisation recommendations.
Chronic Disease Management
Our Nurse Practitioner Anna Byrne-Young and Senior HCA, Trudi Williams, carry out annual checks and diabetes reviews. GPs are conducting Asthma reviews if required.
Family Planning Advice
All the doctors are fully trained in family planning. Patients requiring Emergency contraception should contact the doctor as soon as possible, including evenings and weekends. Appointments are available for IUD (coil) and Implant fittings.
Examinations for Insurance, Sports, Driving or other medicals are all by appointment. There is a charge for these which varies depending on the nature of the examination and report required.
Appointments are available for some minor surgery procedures. The clinic for treatment of warts and verrucas however is no longer available.
